What?

The second floor of the SS-8 building will be under construction beginning April 15th. This construction will impact in-person operations for Counseling & Psychological Services, the Dean of Students Office, and the Women’s Resource & Community Connection. Continue to scroll to learn more about this project and the temporary changes to services and locations.

Why?

The Student Affairs Division is excited to begin construction on a new and improved space for Counseling and Psychological Services and the Dean of Students Office. This will include new facilities to improve your experience as a student when interacting with these offices! We look forward to welcoming you back into these spaces in Fall of 2024.

TEMPORARY OFFICE LOCATIONS

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)

Counseling and Psychological Services has relocated to Building 5, Room 121 from April 15th-middle of August. Exact dates are to be determined. This page will continue to be updated as final dates for returning to SS-8 are provided.

Building 5 is indicated on the map, you can also find signage in and around Building 5 to assist you in locating the entrance as well as the temporary CAPS office. If you have any questions or need assistance in locating the building, please call 561-297-2277

Hours of Operation: M-F 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Dean of Students

The Dean of Students office will be offering remote services for the Summer 2024 semester. For information regarding available services, please navigate the map or call our office at 561-297-3542.

Beyond Food Pantry

Pick-Up for the Beyond Food Pantry will be on Thursdays only, from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. while our office is under construction.

Scantrons

Scantrons can be picked up in the Student Union (UN-31) at the Student Government Office.

Women’s Resource and Community Connection

The Women’s Resource and Community Connection has relocated to the Schmidt Family Complex (SF-107) in room 158A. On the south side of campus, resources can still be found on the second floor of the Breezeway in the lobby of Student Health Services or at any of the locations found on the map.

Looking for WRCC professional or student staff? Inquire at the front desk of Owls Care Health Promotion in SF-107 Rm 158A and they can direct you to available personnel. If you have any questions, reach out to us at wellness@fau.edu.
