Join the FAU Symphony Orchestra and Vocalis for an evening of Supernatural Music of Curses, Witches, and Fairies. The opening concert of the season will begin in the magical forest of the fairy world with the overture and incidental music from Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, followed by a trip aboard a doomed sailing ship with a cursed captain in the Prelude and Spinning Chorus from Wagner’s The Flying Dutchman and ending with prophecies of power and murder in the Prelude and Witches’ Chorus from Verdi’s Macbeth, conducted by Dr. Laura Joella and Dr. Stacie Rossow.
