Through teamwork, energy, and a shared mission, we will pack bulk foods that will be redistributed to food-insecure families throughout Palm Beach County.Join us on Saturday, March 29th in the Sean Stein Pavilion at the College of Business on Florida Atlantic's Boca Raton campus. Volunteers will be packing bulk foods to be redistributed to food-insecure families.Who Can Volunteer?Florida Atlantic students (individuals, groups, and student organizations)Florida Atlantic faculty, staff, and alumniLocal community membersHow You’ll Help: Volunteers will work in assembly-line teams to weigh, sort, and package food for families in need. - Mar 31All dayExciting 'Internet of Things'An undergraduate opportunityThe Institute for Sensing and Embedded Network Systems Engineering (I-SENSE) hosts an intensive summer research program in sensing and smart systems for talented undergraduates from across the country. Projects will focus on: Infrastructure Systems, Marine and Environment, and Health and Behavior.This nine-week program emphasizes training, mentoring and research, preparing students for graduate studies or careers in science, technology, engineering or math disciplines.
