How to enter the prestigious Florida Atlantic Business Pitch Competition and compete for seed funding. In addition, Entrepreneur Boot Camp students will:Discover the most effective research tools available, from using databases in researching competition to understanding customer segments. Learn how to create a valuable marketing plan. Learn how to gain investor attention from family and friends, crowdsourcing, SBA, and institutional funding. Course Overview Entrepreneur Boot Camp is made up of eight sessions. All participants will receive a certificate upon satisfactory completion of all sessions as well as assignments and class discussions. To receive the certificate, unexcused class absences must not exceed two (2) sessions and participants must be on time.

The opening concert of the season will begin in the magical forest of the fairy world with the overture and incidental music from Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, followed by a trip aboard a doomed sailing ship with a cursed captain in the Prelude and Spinning Chorus from Wagner’s The Flying Dutchman and ending with prophecies of power and murder in the Prelude and Witches’ Chorus from Verdi’s Macbeth, conducted by Dr. Laura Joella and Dr. Stacie Rossow.

Each day will include theming around the Division of Student Affairs priorities: Health & Wellness, Sense of Belonging, and Career Readiness.Friday, September 27: Wine and Cheese event - 4 p.m., Student Support Services building, Boca Raton Campus. The event will feature appetizers, DJ, giveaways, and bars on both floors. Mingle with University officials and learn about vendors/discounts in the local area. Additional registration is required for the Wine & Design event that evening. Space is limited.Saturday, September 28: GAMEDAY! Join the Owls as they get ready to take on Wagner during the air-conditioned tailgate at the Campus Recreation & Fitness Center. The catered tailgate will include VIP guests, face paint, a Health & Wellness exhibit, balloon artists, DJs, and more! Stop by the Alumni & Community Engagement tailgate for additional fun by signing up here.Sunday, September 29: Sunrise Yoga and an Etiquette Brunch (first come, first serve).Students must have an Owl Family Weekend package to participate in the weekend events.
