OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. Nov 30 from 12:01AM to 7:00AM
Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 11/30/2023 from 12:01 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:
Sunapsis Server Maintenance
Description of change: OIT will be performing Sunapsis system maintenance. During this time, Sunapsis will be offline.

Affected services: Sunapsis
End-user impact: This maintenance only impacts IEI Staff.
Server Maintenance
Description of change: OIT will be performing server Maintenance affecting TechFee, Gradrates, GradeMan, ServiceAwards, SoftLic, transient, and wconline

Downtime window end: 11/30/2023 1:00 AM
Affected services: TechFee, Gradrates, GradeMan, ServiceAwards, SoftLic, transient, wconline
End-user impact: The services mentioned above will be offline during this time.
Banner Maintenance
Description of change: OIT will be performing maintenance on Banner. Banner will not be available during this time to allow the Ellucian support team to install several module upgrades/patches/administrative pages to bring FAU up to compliance with the latest Financial Aid releases.

End-user impact: Banner will be unavailable during this time.
Data Transfer Node Upgrades
Description of change: OIT will be adjusting default settings on the Research Computing Data Transfer Nodes

Downtime window end: 11/30/2023 6:00 AM
Affected services: koko-dtn which provides smb connectivity to the HPC cluster.
End-user impact: OIT will be reloading SMB on the servers in question which will in theory allow existing connections to continue.
Banner AppNav Maintenance
Description of change: The Banner AppNav that is used for the Banner Admin application will be upgraded, and the current server will be decommissioned.

Downtime window end: 11/30/2023 7:00 AM
Affected services: Banner admin might not be accessible while the switch happens, or current sessions might disconnect.
End-user impact: Staff will not be able to login to Banner Admin while the change takes place, current sessions might also be impacted.
