OIT Systems Maintenance
Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, September 5 and Friday, September 6 from 12:01 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:
Banner Database updates
Description of change: Ellucian will be performing quarterly patch updates on Banner and other related database servers.

Affected services: Banner production, Appworx, Harvest, Follett bookstore, Oracle Enterprise Manager, ODS, Data Warehouse, Self Service, Touchnet
End-user impact: Listed services will be unavailable during this time.
Server Maintenance
Description of change: OIT is updating components to ensure document management websites remain secure.

Server Maintenance
Description of change: OIT is updating components to ensure user account information servers (LDAP) maintain their secure communications channel.

Affected services: Applications that are custom configured to rely on the OUD (Oracle Unified Directory) LDAP servers directly instead of their frontend BigIP entry point.

Description of change: OIT will be upgrading the components of several systems to resolve bugs and add support for newer hardware.

- RESOLVED – Banner Services OutageAll services have been restored in production. We are currently experiencing a Banner outage. Services such as Admin, Registration and other Banner services are not operational. We are investigating the issue now, and restoring services as quickly as possible.
