OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. Feb 29 from 12:01AM to 7:00AM
Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 02/29/2024 from 12:01 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:
Banner service maintenance
Description of change: OIT will be performing maintenance on Banner services from 5:00 a.m. until 5:30 a.m. on Thursday February 29th.

End-user impact: All Banner users (Faculty, Staff, Students, Department)
ODS and Data Warehouse maintenance
Description of change: OIT will be performing maintenance on ODS and the Data Warehouse from 4:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. on Thursday February 29th.

End-user impact: Staff and departmental users.
Server maintenance
Description of change: OIT will be performing maintenance on the main university web servers from 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 a.m. on Thursday February 29th.

Affected services: www.fau.edu main site and any other virtual servers hosted on www.fau.edu
End-user impact: We do not expect any end user impact as the webservers are restarted in a rolling manner.
Database Change
Description of change: OIT will be updating the Banner Production Database.

- [Resolved] Mediasite playbackMediasite is aware of issues impacting video playback in the Video Cloud environment. Mitigation steps have been taken, and there has been no occurrence of the issue over the past several hours. Playback is currently functioning normally at this time.
- [RESOLVED] Banner Admin IssuesWe are experiencing issues with Banner Admin currently. The forms are not being loaded. We are looking at the issue now.
- [RESOLVED] Zoom: Multiple ServicesYesterday’s service degradation appears to have been mitigated, although Zoom is still reporting sluggishness with Zoom Whiteboards.
