OIT Systems Maintenance – 7/31 – 8/2/2024
Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks between 07/31 and 8/2/2024 from 12:01 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:
uAchieve Server Maintenance
Description of change: OIT will be updating the uAchieve server
Downtime window start: 07/31/2024 11:00 PM
Downtime window end: 08/01/2024 12:00 AM
Affected services: uAchieve ( DARS ) – Degree Audits
End-user impact: uAchieve will be unavailable during this time.
Server Maintenance
Description of change: OIT will be performing server maintenance on Single-Sign-On from 11:00pm to 12:00am on July 31st, 2024. This during this time, there may be interruptions logging into FAU services but we do not expect end-user impact.

Oracle Database Patch on Production
Description of change: OIT will be applying Oracle database patches.

Affected services: FrevvoApi, Egrades, Grouper, Graduate Admissions Application, Undergraduate Admissions Application, User Manager
End-user impact: The services listed will be unavailable during.
MYFAU Upcoming Release
Description of change: OIT will be updating MYFAU to include a new feature, Daily Course Schedule, and template update to bring pages up to new code standards.

Affected services: MYFAU
End-user impact: No end-user impact is expected during this time. Students will be able to see the Daily Course Schedule after the update.
Modification to AMCAS Email Update
Description of change: OIT will be modifying the Email update in Banner to prevent the email address to revert back to the student’s original email.

Slate Decisions GPA Loading
Description of change: OIT will be modifying the Slate integration to include new data points. No impact to systems are expected.

End-user impact: No impact to systems are expected.
Update certificates for fau.edu
Description of change: OIT will be updating some TLS certificates prior to expiration to prevent interruption of services.

Affected services: We do not anticipate any impact as a result of this change, however HTTPS services will present a newer certificate to clients for any new sessions.

- RESOLVED – Banner Services OutageAll services have been restored in production. We are currently experiencing a Banner outage. Services such as Admin, Registration and other Banner services are not operational. We are investigating the issue now, and restoring services as quickly as possible.
