Big Band Concerts
The Florida Wind Symphony Jazz Orchestra, a professional Ensemble-in-Residence at Florida Atlantic, will present Big Band Hits from the Golden Age, an evening of hits from the 30s, 40s and 50s, with authentic music of Big Band sensations like Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman.
The concerts take place on Saturday, July 13 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 14 at 2 p.m. in the University Theatre. Tickets are $18 for faculty and staff and $15 for students and children.
