FAU to Host 'The Constitution Today'

Florida Atlantic University’s Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters presents “The Constitution Today” with Emily Bazelon and Katie Phang on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 2 p.m. in the Osher Lifelong Learning Society’s Barry and Florence Friedberg Auditorium, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton campus. Tickets are $20 and are available at fauevents.com or 561-297-6124.

The event will include an insightful discussion on the enduring relevance of the U.S. Constitution in the 21st century. Bazelon, renowned legal thinker and staff writer for The New York Times Magazine, will share her expertise on how the Constitution continues to shape and influence contemporary legal debates and social issues.

Phang, host of “The Katie Phang Show” on MSNBC and also serves as a legal contributor for NBC News and MSNBC, will leverage her significant trial experience to provide analysis and commentary on the latest legal issues across the globe. The lecture will be followed by a panel discussion.
