Owls Enjoy Paradise Tour 2024
BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic fans packed the house on two-consecutive nights to celebrate the 2023-24 successes and for fellowship with the coaches that they traditionally watch from the sideline.
Wednesday's event was held at the Cove Brewery in Deerfield Beach and hosted by Inside the Owls Burrow host and producer Frank Forte. Forte was joined by Florida Atlantic Vice President and Director of Athletics Brian White, Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Tom Herman, Head Men's and Women's Cross Country/Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Coach Alex Smolka, Men's and Women's Head Basketball Coaches John Jakus and Jennifer Sullivan as well as Head Softball Coach Jordan Clark and Head Baseball Coach John McCormack. Also in attendance were several Owl Head Coaches and program assistants. Thursday's lineup was much the same with the Voice of the Owls, Ken LaVicka shepherding the festivities held at Johnnie Brown's located in Delray Beach.
Both events celebrated the academic and athletic prowess of the Owls, previewed the teams heading into the summer of 2024 and discussed the ever changing landscape of college athletics.
Fans are encouraged the follow the Owls @fauathletics for future Florida Atlantic outings and events.
