Owls Proud Partners of Florida Lottery and Bright Futures Scholarship Program
BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Athletics is excited to celebrate its ongoing partnership with the Florida Lottery, the primary funding source for the Bright Futures Scholarship Program.
The Florida Lottery has contributed over $8 billion to the Bright Futures Scholarship Program, enabling nearly one million students to pursue their dreams of higher education. With the Lottery's commitment to enhancing education in Florida, students can worry less about finances and focus more on following their passions while they're in college.
One of the first steps in the initiative was creating a one-stop-shop website to serve as a comprehensive resource that answers frequently asked questions, provides eligibility requirements and application support, and more.
To further promote the Bright Futures Scholarship Program, the Lottery and Florida Department of Education have traveled around the state speaking at numerous school assemblies. Lottery Secretary John F. Davis and Education Commissioner Manny Diaz, Jr., have been leading these engagements by sharing the benefits of the scholarship with students and community members.
Visit www.FloridaBrightFutures.gov to learn more about the scholarship and how you can benefit.
