Florida Atlantic Coaches Show Closes out 2023
BOCA RATON, Fla. – The final "Coaches Show" of 2023 is slated to be taped live this Thursday, Nov. 30 at Duffy's Sports Grill, located at 401 N. Federal Hwy, Deerfield Beach, Florida 33441. The show will begin taping at noon and will air Friday, Dec. 1 at 6 p.m. on Fox Sports South Florida 640 AM.
Show host Frank Forte will be joined by Florida Atlantic vice president and director of athletics Brian White. The duo will review the fall seasons highlighting many of the teams' successes and preview the winter sports including men's basketball, who recently captured the ESPN Events Invitational and are scheduled to host the Field of 68 Classic this weekend before heading to the Jimmy V. Classic, where they will face Illinois on Tuesday, Dec. 5 in New York's Madison Square Garden.
Forte will then be joined by men's soccer head coach Joey Worthen, who will take fans through their AAC championship run and the Owls' transition into the holidays, semester break and then the offseason.
The show's final guest of 2023 will be beach volleyball head coach Steve Grotowski. Grotowski led the Owls to their second NCAA National Tournament in as many years in 2023 and will vie for a third in 2024. The Owls have completed their 2023 fall season and will host the 2023 Capri Grotowski Legacy Beach Bash from Dec. 2-3 in Singer Island, Florida.
