However, quality sleep is a key component of wellness - it has been said that people can go without food and water longer than they can without sleep! This workshop will highlight the benefits of healthy sleep hygiene and provide attendees with tangible and research-based strategies for improving their sleep.

Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion. Tai chi is sometimes described as meditation in motion because it promotes serenity through gentle movements — connecting the mind and body.Qi Gong involves using exercises to optimize energy within the body, mind, and spirit, with the goal of improving and maintaining health and well-being.

Florida Atlantic University Libraries, Special Collections is displaying Americans at War: WWII and the Holocaust. When war was declared in 1941, sixteen million Americans responded to Uncle Sam’s call and served in the U.S. Army, Navy, Marines, and Army Air Forces. From pre-war antisemitism to the surrender of the Axis Powers, this exhibition will narrate the war and devastation through photographs, letters, war documents, and ephemera.The exhibition will be open from 10 am to 2 pm on Tuesdays to Thursdays.The exhibition run dates Tuesday, March 5 – Thursday, April 25

Explore 19th-century racial justice with Dr. Stephen D. Engle's captivating discussion on John Albion Andrew's lasting impact. Join us on April 10, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, at the Weiner Suite in S.E. Wimberly Library. Dr. Engle, renowned author and historian, will delve into Andrew's role in history, including leading the Glorious 54th Regiment during the Civil War. This free event also features a book signing, Civil War display, READ poster exhibit, and light refreshments.
