Participants will be provided a Fitbit to wear and complete online surveys every two months and may keep the Fitbit at the end of the study. Participants will be compensated for their time with an electronic gift cards. The study takes place online after the adoption of a pet dog or cat . Participants must not have any other cat or dog in the home. We are also looking for those who do not have any pets in the home to participate as no n-adopters for the control group.
