Prestige Window Student-Athletes of the Month Named
BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic Athletics has named its Prestige Windows & Doors Student-Athletes of the Month for September, with men's soccer's Nick Kinina and Roberta CircI from the women's swimming and diving team receiving honors.
Kinina came to Florida Atlantic in January 2024 from Arizona Western. The junior defender is part of the men's soccer team that is 2-3-3 on the year, are in contention for a berth in the American Athletic Conference Champions and are vying for an opportunity to host.
"Nick has gotten off to an incredible start this fall semester," said Jordan Pitre, FAU's Director of Student-Athlete Development and an Athletic Academic Advisor. "As his team enters the heart of their season, he has managed to balance the demands of his sport and the classroom with exceptional dedication. Nick's hard work and determination has led him to currently earning all A's in his courses. Nick is very much deserving of this month's Student Athlete of the Month!"
"Roberta has shown exceptional dedication and commitment both in the classroom and beyond," said Hannah Smith, FAU's Assistant Director of SASC."She consistently excels academically while also serving as one of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) representatives for the FAU Swimming and Diving team. During Roberta's time at FAU, she has demonstrated growth and perseverance, always striving to improve and embodying the values of hard work and positivity."
Circi was a part of last weekend's win over Indian River and will lead the Owls this weekend at the TYR Fall Classic in Miami.
