A.D. Henderson University School at Florida Atlantic University recently hosted its 2025 Career Day with more than 40 professionals from a variety of career paths for its K-12 students.
Presenters represented such areas as dentistry, engineering, accounting, psychology, firefighting, nursing, law and business. Companies participating included Nabisco, Dunkin’ and Publix. Emily Orozco, a six-time Emmy-nominated entertainment news correspondent, producer and talent booker for Access Hollywood, also spoke to the students.
“Today’s Career Day at A.D. Henderson & FAU High School not only showed our students different career options but also got them thinking about their own future paths,” said Rebecca Kasten, ADHUS elementary school assistant principal. “More importantly, the event highlighted how much our character affects our success. Success isn’t just about what you know but also about how you work with others, deal with challenges and present yourself.”
