How do I know what my FAUNet ID is?
You can lookup your FAUNet ID by using the lookup tool and providing your SSN or Z-number.

To claim your account and correctly activate all other linked online services, log on to MyFAU with your FAUNet ID and password.

Students:
A FAUNet ID is automatically assigned to you once you are officially admitted.

Faculty & Staff:
Your FAUNet ID is assigned within 5 business days after attending orientation.

If you have not taken a course during any of the last 3 terms your account has probably been removed. If you need to order a transcrip t, please see the information about ordering transcripts in the FAU Self-Service.

Access to MyFAU, e-mail, and the FAU network is removed once you've gone three consecutive semesters without taking a class. Access is also removed one year a fter graduation.

To have access you must be an enrolled student (degree or non-degree) or a current employee.

If you return to FAU as a student, employee, or faculty, you will have the same FAU Net ID (and e-mail address) as you formerly had

If you receive an e-mail with a subject line of "Your quota limit", delete it. It asks for the recipient to click on the link provided to validate their e-mail account. This message is NOT legitimate and is known as "phishing" -- an attempt to get personal information from people.

Please keep in-mind that no legitimate entity would ask for this information via e-mail. Likewise, it is a smart practice to never provide personal information in an e-mail. Lastly, FAU would never ask for someone's username and password information via e-mail.
